In recent years, the global wine market has seen dramatic changes. Emerging wine-producing areas have brought forth some wines that surpass those of the famous traditional wine regions. Although Japanese wines are often regarded as being a step behind, in fact Japanese winemakers have invested in the cultivation of superior grapes and have begun to produce exceptional wines. In other words, world-class Japanese wines have arrived.
The Association of Nippon's Wine Lovers was created to support this development and promote Japanese wines not only in Japan, but globally.
We hope that wine lovers will share our ambition and join us in contributing to the advance of Japanese wine.
